「A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well! 」

「Amazing country pub, warm welcome from Steve owner and buddy (dog). Clean room with comfortable bed and large shower room. Currently renovating the kitchen but breakfast served up in the top garden. Breakfast made to order and was delicious. We ate there three nights fresh pizza made to order in pizza oven using some produce from well stocked organic garden. The regulars and staff were so welcoming for a small village. Even met a kindered spirit originally from cleckheaton (Nick) the gardener....

「We hadn't realised we'd booked something in West Bay, we thought we'd booked in Bridport, but the people in West bay were absolutely lovely and so friendly, and we found a great place to eat, so we were absolutely delighted with our little mini break. Thank you to all staff at the George pub, you were all fabulous and smiley and welcoming. We would recommend this place highly. 」

「A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.」
