「Staff was super nice and property was one of the best maintained places we’ve ever been too. A pleasure from one end to the other. I highly recommend!!!」

「Very worn down, dirty hotel, stained carpets, broken things in the room. We bought blankets at the store to use and slept on top of the sheets. We will never book here again or suggest it to anyone. We went off of the high ratings and we are wondering about the validity of these ratings. There are much nicer places to stay… like even sleeping in your own car.」

「Warm, inviting, historic but in desperate need of a new front door. It is not at all a good first impression when you arrive.」

「Very disappointed in the days Inn in Petoskey. Buildings were very rundown and some were even damaged, the bathroom sink was very slow draining and when we called they sent a plumber who could not fix the issue because he didn’t have the right tools and stated he would come back and fix it when he gets a longer snake and he never showed up. The towels are very thin and dirty feeling. For the amount of money that they charge per night it was very disappointing.」

「Room 119 needs the floor swept and mopped. Our socks after walking around the room a little bit were nearly black on the bottom. Nothing like getting out of the shower and stepping on a little pebble. And we didn’t wear shoes into the room.」

「The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean on the surface (don’t look under the beds). Breakfast was edible. The hotel is tired and needs a refurbishment. For the price this is not worth it.」

「The staff was excellent. The wall unit AC was very loud, intermittent and not conducive to rest and relaxation. The power went out as we were getting ready for our day and caused delays initially the staff reported the service. There was no explanation for the outage.」

「This hotel was very clean and comfortable. They had the fireplace lit and the outdoor firepit lit in the mornings, making it a very cozy atmosphere. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean and nice. Front desk ladies very helpful and pleasant.」
