「This is not your typical hotel stay, so when I say everything was well maintained, service was good, etc, it accounts for the fact it is a very old home with some original or era appropriate things (such as old doornobs which my daughter commented on), and that it is a true B&B so it is their home and they have lives and it is not a standard hotel setting (they had a hair dryer, just not in every bathroom). 「This is one of the few chain hotels close to Nauvoo. After checking in, I decided I would’ve rather driven 3 hours south to get to St. Louis than stay close to Nauvoo at this hotel.
