The room on the 9th floor had amazing views and was very clean, it was smaller than expected from the photos but perfectly adequate. The hotel location near to Cuba Street was ideal. The only reasons we haven’t scored this as excellent was that the parking is confusing, although very convenient just across the road and that we had an interconnecting room, so noise from the neighbouring room was more noticeable.

Clean and well-maintained room, great staff and great service, short walking distance to dining options. This hotel is the definition of "Simple but effective". If you're looking for a hotel with an onsite restaurant, this isn't the one. But if you want a good modern hotel with clean rooms in a reasonable location with reasonable prices, this is the one. I stayed in a Petite Double room which is actually pretty good size with more than enough space to move around and store my things - not Petite at all ! And due to my early flight, I arrived at the hotel around 8 am thinking that I was just going to drop off my bag for storage and come back in the afternoon to check-in, but without being asked somehow Tricia told me that I can check-in straight away as the room is available. Have you ever been allowed to have an early check-in from 8 am ?! Most hotels don't allow that, even if the room is available. Definitely on my recommended list. Great stuff Mike and team, you guys are onto a simple formula here - do the basics right !!
