Made notes on my booking no notice took by hotel. On check in no info re how to use card or facilities or where lifts were, no baggage help, Just told no parking and given a piece of paper to walk 500 m to nearest car park. Women on my own at 7pm in the dark in a strange city for me. No usb charges in any rooms. Checked in to room and the air con had a very noisy vibration and humming. Rang reception they sent a guy up said he’s fixed then happened again all he did was turn it down. Had to ring to get myself moved to another room. After a 9 hour drive not what I expected and a 4 hour ferry. Then moved to a room with no bath, 3 little pots of milk, no free biscuits, freezing as beds just have a few flimsy sheets and white blanket and couldn’t put air con on as new room still noisy. Shabby room. Shower was good the only positive. Not very attentive staff. I had no battery charger the staff offered to charge my phone on reception. Who is going to leave there phone at reception to charge at 8pm at night. Checked out never asked how my stay was as I was ready to tell them poor. I feel a refund is in order. I would not stay here again. All you want is to be comfortable. There were no extra blankets in the wardrobe either. No pen or paper in the room either .
