The reception upgraded us with a suit...which was nice. Very good breakfast with lots of choices, even for Venetians. Very friendly staff. The location is excellent, the old town iand the night market is just right next door. We shall return.

Property location was fantastic. The staff are very helpful. A lady named Pi was very helpful at the breakfast restaurant. It was lovely to receive treats such as fruits, vegetables and drinks on our return each day. The gym looked old and tired so it needs some refreshing. I wasnt pleased to smell cigarette smoke on the floor i was staying given it was a non smoking floor.

Value for money.

All the hotel staff are professional train. The house keeper wrote a small memo everyday that is heart warming. The front desk is very respondsive. When I report that the room is very hot due to the morning sun, she immediately reply to change room for me on the opposite side. The wifi is fast and great. The breakfast is fantiastic but same menu everyday. The shower water pressure is not strong enough. Room provide drinking water tap.

The Brigh Center Hotel is very well located with a large shopping area attached and an even larger mall, restaurants, movie theater, play area across the street. The location is prime for the number of buses and taxis that ply this route. The center of Weihai is only a short walk and Happy Gate and the seaside are within easy walking distance. The hotel has a good breakfast buffet and they have finally learned how to make eggs in the western style. The 20th floor has a nice lounge area with live music after nine pm and a Japanese style service earlier. However, if you ask for any kind of a cocktail be prepared to wait a long time, even if they have no one else waiting, as they really don't know how to make anything. There are two restaurants in the hotel plus the 20th floor. The "western" style restaurant is the same as the breakfast area and the Chinese restaurant on the same floor is quite good with some local specialties. There is an entertainment area "KTV" on the 7th floor but I did not visit so can't give any review of it. The front desk usually has someone who speaks English so normally works OK. They also can change money for you at a reasonable rate. WiFi was included in the rooms and usually worked fairly well. All in all this is now my hotel of choice in Weihai, as I make several visits each year.. There are others that are more luxurious and more expensive but the location leaves quite a bit to be desired.
