We enjoyed our stay here. Our host, Sam, was very friendly. Breakfast was healthy and the coffee was great. Our room was lovely: clean and large. The house is right across the road from a large lake, with a great view of the sunset. Just know that there is a very steep hill to get up to the house, and you may be asked to park at the bottom of the hill. And then there are about 7 steps to climb to get to the house from the driveway. Let the host know if you have mobility needs and he will accommodate. Overall, a very positive experience.

Sam was a very gracious host. Our room was very clean and spacious. Very comfortable. The outside areas especially the gazebo by the lake were very nice and relaxing.

Such a welcoming host - very kind and sweet! Learned our names and chatted with us! Lots of amenities and the water was within walkable distance. You can tell the host cares a lot about the property - it was incredibly well maintained and full of birds (saw a blue jay and hummingbird!). Breakfast was home cooked and the host took the time to chat with us again in the morning. The property was nice and clean, with options for coffee, tea, laundry, a fridge, and even a ping pong table! If you’re looking for a lovely spot to spend the night, it is here! We would absolutely love to come back!

Wonderful hosts. Very clean and well kept. Appreciated the flexible checkin and kind hospitality. Breakfast was lovely. Parking was a bit tricky getting up the hill. Enjoyed coffee by the lake.

Quiet neighbourhood, winding road so the sign was visible as we drove by it! No issues found again after a turnaround. The driveway was steep! It was paved so easily traversed.

Beautiful area nestled on a hillside with a lakeview about 15 min from airport. Extremely clean and the host is very hospitable. Great breakfast served every morning and the host is considerant of dietary needs. It was a great home base for our travels.

What a great stay at the Burgundy Dream B&B! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! It is in the perfect location being right by the water but still only 10 mins from the airport and 20 mins from downtown! Sam and Kazue are so fun and we appreciated their company… they made it feel like home! Would recommend to anyone travelling to Halifax.
