"so, a big part of this is my own fault, but they do advertise a 24 hour convenience desk, which is not true. I came in at one in the morning because the bus dropped me off, I had to walk 20 minutes to get to the hotel from the station, and when I got there, nobody was at the helpdesk. There were two little boys sleeping behind the helpdesk, but they didn’t stir to a flashlight in their faces. I had to check myself in, grab my own key, make my own bed, and clean up a little bit. "The room was fine but the bathroom needs modernising and it was a bit of a hassle trying to lock my room door on the way out (you had to fiddle with the inside door handle and then close the door in a firm manner) The breakfast ( like in most Thai hotels I've been to) have very limited vegetarian options ( unless your big on toast and fruits). Its 15 mins by car to the historical park (AKA the old town). About a 5 min walk to various restaurants but not much to see or do around the area (the new town). Can get your laundry done here too. The staff were very polite. "
