The pub abd the associated guest rooms are excellent. The area is quiet and peaceful, with easy access to the A10 routes to London or Cambridge. The local town of Ware is a gem for dining and shopping.

Great stay

The staff throughout my stay were friendly and helpful. Comfortable clean room and lovely bathroom. There was a good choice for breakfast and the food in the restaurant was excellent. It is a great base to stay when I visit friends in the area.

Lovely room with good facilities. Friendly helpful staff, great location. Great value breakfast Limited local amenities-need a car or taxi if visiting neighbouring villages which can be expensive £40 for 7 mile journey
