Holiday Inn Express Woodstock-Shenandoah Valley by IHG
8/10 Good
"The room was spotless and the King sized bed was very comfortable. Having a tub to soak in after a very long drive was a fantastic bonus!
The breakfast offerings were basic but plentiful and it was enough to get me started on my day. The coffee dispensing machine and flavor were a little disappointing but again, enough to get me going into my day.
I'd definitely stay here again."
"The place was nice, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful! We booked while travelling and on the website it looked like there was a pool, so we were disappointed to find no pool. Unfortunately it was hard to tell from the confusing technological hoops with the booking apps what the amenities were. This was probably the cause of the confusion. Nevertheless it resulted in disappointment for my grandson. I would give the hotel 5 stars but the reservation process b/c of the third party involvement is a big fat pain!!! Why can’t we just call and make a reservation?"
"We like staying here because the staff is great. Unfortunately this time the hot tub was out of order. The first night we were on the highway side and it was hard to sleep. On the way home we stopped here and got a room on the otherside as we had requested and they awesomely accommodated us."

10/10 Excellent
"For a low budget hotel, the rooms were very clean and everything was working. The staff, especially Carolyn, at the front dealership was friendly and very helpful. If you are looking for a one night stay just to rest for the night, this is good."
"This newly renovated, squeaky clean hotel is a favorite of ours as a stop off on our I-81 journeys. It is at an excellent location, quiet, clean, and the rooms are spacious. Hotel gym, breakfast, and pool are excellent additions to our stay here. They are also pet friendly and have a nice spot to walk around with bag stations posted. Thanks for another excellent stay!"
