「At first, before I spent any time there, I spoke to a wonderful lady on the phone and she helped me make the room arrangements for my stay. Every other time I called the hotel I spoke with someone I could not understand. He had a very very thick accent. I'm usually pretty good with accents but his was just too thick. Then, I tried to change my arrangements through Expedia. But Expedia said they had to do it through the hotel. So they tried to call, but no one answered. When we finally got a...

「Upon arrival, we noted that the parking lot was empty. We walked into the office and it had a stale, sour smell. Being cautious, we asked to view the room before checking in. The clerk handed us a key card. We went to the room and tried to open the door. No luck. We peered through the window. The room looked dingy and dirty. The bed was poorly made. We returned the card to the clerk. Did not check in, drove another hour to the next town. I will never stay at this motel.」

「Check in was suppose to be at 3pm, we arrived at 4:45 to no clean rooms. They tried to have us check into a dirty room and when I asked to just cancel the reservation (the place was notably filthy and there were several people waiting in the office because their room was also dirty) they informed us their cleaner had called out and they had 75 rooms that needed to be cleaned. They refused to cancel our reservation or refund us. Will never be using their services again.」
