"The room was clean and the bed comfortable (on the firmer side, but I like a firm mattress), great shower and had the facilities you need, but some aspects were a bit dated. Had a spa which we didnt use, but made use of the thermal pools which were great! Staff were really friendly and happy to help! Would stay again, value for money."

"The lady staff was lovely, beautiful spot. Beautiful spa and pool even in cold windy weather i was in there. Room had cooking facilities and very clean. Enjoyed my stay. The offsite gym you have access too Empower fitness is good too."

"The room was clean and well stocked with towels, tea coffee, utensils etc. beds were comfortable. Great location, off street parking. Friendly staff and great comms before arrival. Easy check in. We only stay a night but if staying longer, the hotel offered towels to take if heading out for a swim and kayaks to hire. Bbq facilities also available. The court yard could do with a bit of tlc, remove the dead plants and bathroom is tired - wall paper is starting to come off and mould above the shower ceiling."

"The room was clean and tidy had everything we needed for our stay .awesome views of the lake close to eaterys and shops. The spa bath was relaxing and the bathromm was a good size. Had everything you needed for a short or long stay . One of few we've found where you can use a laundry room with both washing machine and dryer and at no cost . Only down fall is that the room was heavily sprayed with room freshener and which wasn't nice at all . But would highly recommend definitely 👌."

"The hotel was located on a hill overlooking Lake Taupo as opposed to on the lake. We had a lovely well presented room that featured Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries ( one of my favorite brands) Staying in Lake Taupo was definitely a highlight of our trip."

"We stayed only one night but I really think this is a place you would want to spend a couple of days to get maximum benefit from everything on offer. Only issue was the soap dispenser in the shower ran out of soap while I was in the shower (last one of three to use it) other than that enjoyable stay."
