「We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day. Since we didn’t have a kitchenette, this would have been nice. The main pool was lovely, but we did have to fish out a lot of bugs...

「Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. 「My girlfriends & I recently stayed at the Avaton Villas for my bachelorette trip and it was absolutely PERFECT! Eleni, Gianna and the entire staff went above and beyond. Not only did they make arrangements and reservations for us, they gave us excellent recommendations and local insights. 「Lovely modern apartment in good location. Slight smell of drains some nights but that is probably because it is in the old part of town. 2 minutes walk to the old town. Beautiful view, however the sun left the terrace mid afternoon.」

「The beach was further away than what was described and the “road” was not an actual road. The amenities ended up being less than what was listed, there are no washers, no parking, wifi sucks, etc. the pool was not clean, the food remained the same every day. It’s far from the main road. Towels were never changed, sheets never changed, never sweeper or mopped the room and we stayed for a decent time. 「We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night.
