「The room was pretty, comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. There's a restaurant on the premises but was changing management during my stay and was not open. I was not made aware of this when I booked my stay. It was very disappointing.」

「There’s no other option to stay overnight in Sparta except the Allegheny Inn. It’s nothing special and the bathrooms are really small so if you’re heavyset, you might wanna ask for a a room with a larger bathroom the sheets were clean, but there was a stain and there was some hair in the drain of the bathtub that was not mine.! there was coffee in the lobby but only powdered creamer. I was nervous about going up the stairs as they were broken and the metal posts stop two feet above the ground. There is about a 1/4 inch gap around the doors letting light in and possibly others. 「Had to wait fifteen minutes before someone would come check us in. She was nice. We got a room on first floor in the side where it seemed like people were living in the hotel - hanging out in the doorway and lots video games playing. Other room beside us was filled with dogs barking. The room smelled terrible so we walked out and turned our key in and chose to stay somewhere else. Very different than the pictures make it seem.」
