A unique experience in an old castle with charming rooms and a peaceful garden where we had a peaceful afternoon in the shadow under a 200 year old tree, reading a book and sharing a bottle of rose wine. In the evening the host Stephan cooked a delicious 5-course meal served in the garden. This place is a rare pearl and comes highly recommended. We stayed an extra night!! Gael & Sofie were so welcoming and went over & above, especially when we had a minor health issue to ensure we found appropriate medical care. They speak English quite well & we felt grateful as we were in their county speaking limited French.
