This ”little detour” was half an hour on serpentine roads through a mostly uninhabited Italian landscape, and the inhabitated parts looking a little like the rural parts of Alabama. "The location was perfect, easy to walk in to Orta San Giulio. Had a meal at the Hotel and the restaurant across the road, both meals were exceptional. Breakfast was great, we would definitely stay again if in the area again "
