Fabulous breakfast - I mean I just LOVE Austrian breakfasts. Wonderfully helpful staff. Solved a few issues immediately. Nice place. Clean. Close to the train station and downtown. Very walkable. Parking is not free (was actually 16 Euro) or you can park in a tow away zone for 7am the next morning.

Why do hotels insist on advertising a 'double' bed, when in reality it's just two singles pushed together? Hotel very well located right outside the railway and bus stations. Check in easy enough. In room kettle very welcome, but no fridge. Nice big bathroom with huge shower.

Arrived quite late but got a really warm welcome by receptionist Damir. Super friendly and well organized, handling 3 check ins at the same time shortly before the end of his shift. Room was very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Also really nice staff at check out.

We were pleasantly surprised by the modern facilities, attention to detail, friendly staff, cleanliness and cozyness. It's located conveniently near the main train station with good parking options and all kinds of public transport connections. But as the city center is 5min by foot, we didn't go anywhere else than on foot exploring the beautiful city center with its nice scenery, historic buildings, shops, and restaurants. We'll definitely come back!

Lovely modern hotel

We were impressed with this hotel, which was very modern. The bed was comfortable and the room was big. It is a short walk into town with lots of restaurants close by. Would recommend Le burger…. Nicest burger I’ve ever had! We think there was a problem with Hotels.com and the booking because they were unaware of our booking when we arrived despite having already paidbut the friendly staff quickly sorted this and luckily there were still spare rooms. It is also unclear about the Parking on Hotels.com. It cost €24 for 24 hours Parking, which is quite expensive. Luckily we were here over the weekend so could get free parking on the street. But just be aware it could work out quite expensive during the week. There was not a great deal to do in Villach so one night was enough. But if you have a car, they’re in a nice places to drive to in the area.
