My husband & I appreciate old architecture, so we decided book 3 nights out of curiosity. The service was great, the room was comfortable. No coffee maker in the room is the only inconvenience. The gym is well equipped compared to other places we've stayed at. The Union Club is perfectly located for walking down town Victoria.

You need to know that you have to park your car about 3 blocks away. And don't forget to get a fob to get your car out if it's a weekend! That is a joke. Great location. Can walk around and see the busy area. No air conditioning so if you leave windows open for breeze it's really noisy.

Nice option in walking distance to everything

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Didn’t realize about the dress code until we received an email, but it wasn’t a problem as we didn’t plan to use facilities beyond entering/exiting the hotel. Has a lot of charm to it and is in the perfect location in Victoria near the Harbour. Note: if you have mobility issues: it looks like after a few months, the elevator is still not functioning. If you are coming during warmer days, note that there isn’t air conditioning so can get quite uncomfortable overnight, but they did add a fan to the room. Overall a very nice stay!

It’s a beautiful building but it’s really old. It’s like frozen in time. The elevator did not work which is a problem with taking your luggage to your room. The electric installations are inefficient. The bathroom was very small. The TV sistem is really slow. It’s a good place but has a lot of things to improve.
