"Staff let us check in early, which was much appreciated since there were severe thunderstorms when we arrived. They still have smoking rooms but it is thick with stale smoke! Property is outdated. Bed was decent and bedding was clean. Breakfast can barely be considered a continental breakfast. No waffle iron but thawed frozen waffles you could put in the toaster. No protein options. "

"Room was fair. Smelled of cigarette smoke. Contacted office and was instructed to cut on exhaust fan in the bathroom. He said it must be coming from someone in another room and that the rooms were all connected, whatever that means. Hot breakfast was the same every morning. By that I mean sausage patties, what looked like flat round egg patties, biscuits and gravy. No alternating or choice of bacon,scrambled eggs. Did have cereal, muffins, waffles etc., and of course beverages. It’s located in what someone said was the good part of town, a little farther out than I had thought or wanted to be from my actual destination, but I wasn’t very familiar with all the areas that have grown since I was a kid. The guy in the room next door had a car that the security system kept going off. About the third time it went off, I looked out the door and he was out there and told me his car was sensitive. He said he usually goes outside with his gun when the alarm goes off. I wasn’t sure if he was an extended resident there or not. Oh well. If you are looking for a fair place to lay your head and no bells and whistles, then this is the place for you."
