Just one night ...

Just a one night stop in Verona as part of our holiday. Comfortable and welcoming hotel, friendly staff and a good breakfast. A parting gift of local risotto rice and a recipe booklet was a surprising and really nice gesture.

Good Value for money

The check in was good and the staff were friendly, I wouldn't say very welcoming but comfortable. The food choices were limited but the breakfast was adequate. Unfortunately, the reception staff declined to help us book a taxi, which other hotels did. We therefore had to struggle with our limited communication. That was the major negative. Otherwise, it was comfortable and good value for money

I have nothing but praise for this hotel. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds & pillows. Great shower pressure. The staff is friendly and one specific employee guided us for transportation to the city. We received a welcoming and parting gift, a first for us. Fountain water - flat or sparkling available at reception. If you have a car, I would highly recommend this hotel. Cons- No English or French TV channels. We always book a hotel in accordance to the accessibility to public transportation. With a bus stop to Verona only 200m away, I thought we would be all set. Bus #148 has a very limited ride schedule in the early morning one at noon and a few in late afternoon. Several of the runs are for school kids, but adults are allowed. We were there for 4 days on Easter weekend. This bus does not run on Sundays and was suspended for Saturday and Monday because of Easter. We had to take a taxi which cost us near 30 euros each trip. As a hotel, super...but if dependent of public transportation, better avoid booking on Sundays unless you don't mind paying for a taxi or shuttle.
