This was a surprisingly wonder gem. The rooms were super clean and nicely renovated. My reason for the two four stars is that the outside is totally under renovation. There was scaffolding surrounding the entire building. When we made our reservation we were told of the renovations so it wasn’t a surprise. The breakfast was really good and came with the price of the room. The location was fantastic. Very walkable to the main st with cute shops, dining and thrift stores! Highly recommend this hotel.

At first I was surprised to see the entire front of the hotel was under construction. But the inside was great. Very spacious room. We got a welcome drink and snack. Super friendly and accommodating front desk staff. Then, for dinner, we were a free walkable steps to downtown Ventura and all the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again,

I had initially asked for an ADA room close to elevator, but on the day we arrived it was not available. I walk with a cane and that was difficult in terms of mobility.

Apart from the ongoing construction which has taken months and months, this time there was a restaurant or club near the property playing extremely loud music from afternoon till 10pm. Bad music; impossible to ignore or rest in peace.
