The location is perfect if you’re taking the water taxi from the airport, there is a stop right by the hotel. The room was cute and spacious enough for two people. There was water, sodas, beer, and wine in the mini fridge which was a nice surprise. The housekeeper was super sweet, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. She definitely made us feel welcome and I would stay again just because of her. There is no elevator, so just keep that in mind. There are plenty of food and shopping options nearby and it’s about a 12 minute walk to the train station. The area felt safe and it was close enough to the main attractions. There is also a grocery store nearby. I thought that overall this hotel was super cute and would stay again.

Lovely space! Very ornate. Very spacious. Fantastic view of a smaller canal out the window. The person maintaining the property is so wonderful, she gave us a bottle of prosecco for our honeymoon stay and refilled our fridge with free sodas and candy. One small thing, I noticed a few bugs in the tub the first night, but covered the drain and saw no more during our stay. Fantastic location. The air conditioning is a bit confusing - to be expected in these older buildings.

This was my first time in Venice and I couldn’t have chose a better place to stay to have a wonderful experience! The location was amazing with access to shopping and restaurants. The woman who runs this beautiful hotel is the best! She was very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay and experience.

Nice room but small. Good AC. Well kept, friendly staff, good location near to train station and 20 mins walk to San Marco. Check-in process is challenging, several steps, not clear, link to an Italian form for city tax.

Had top floor, room was 29 degrees! Not even a fan available, and told nothing they could do. Bottom level was lower than 24 degrees. At least offer a fan for that room. Also, no shower available. Only a bath too small to sit in, with a shower hand with no curtain. How are you supposed to shower? Not recommended.

Charming hotel in a great location, with some rooms overlooking a garden, making them especially quiet — a nice bonus in Venice, where nights can be noisy. Conveniently close to the main train station, which is ideal if you’re traveling with a wheeled suitcase.

This was one of our favorite stays on our honeymoon. We were only here for two nights, but after walking Venice all day, it was so nice to take a seat on the balcony for a very coveted view of the canal, especially at sunset. I would recommend this highly as it's a 7 minute walk from the train station and only over one bridge with stairs. No need for a water taxi, self check in was easy, and the staff was very responsive even when not at the front desk.

This hotel is a throw back to days gone by in Venice. The charming property hosted by Rosalea was immaculate and the rooms were comfortable with all the amenities needed - free mini bar (!) and modern bathroom. The motorized window shutters provided complete blackout. Rosalea was delightful and showed us around the minute we arrived. The hotel was a very short walk from the Guglie water bus stop and was centrally located with lots of shopping and good restaurants. It was a 25 minute walk to the Doma, St. Marks Square and Rialto bridge was less than 15. We highly recommend!

Really beautiful property - check the pictures online... really pretty. Great location in a quieter area of Venice... it will still have a lot of activity from tourists since Venice is so busy (we stayed in mid-May). There is a gondola station right outside the hotel - I wish I had known that, for a quieter experience than something on the grand canal (too busy, large waves). We walked to Doge's Palace - 25 minutes or so one way. Take a boat if that's too far for you. Property is not staffed, but we were lucky to run into someone as we checked in - she showed us the room and the little patio just off the stairs - grab a glass of wine and look out over the bridge and canal. Enjoy!
