Very friendly and attentive staff who changed my room when they found out I had an injury and was struggling with stairs. The place has a lovely traditional, old style feel and is very centrally located.

after a not so favorable stay in Florence, this hotel is a gem. Everything you need, and nothing you don't. very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is additional, but compared to what you would spend at a cafe, I say go for it! Will stay there again!

Booked a room for 3. Large, pleasantly decorated room. Staff very helpful and speak English. Hotel also arranged porter to carry luggage to the water bus back to the Airport, and helped carry luggage up and down the staircase. Excellent buffet breakfast choices, including vegetarian/vegan. Close to a number of restaurants and shops. Within 5 minutes walk of Piazza San Marco.

Lovely location and hotel

The hotel is very centric to the centre, the service was fabolous. Myself & my sister were delayed and we arrived at the hotel at 4am, I did message them but they welcomed us even so late with a friendly face and very professional. We have no issues, we asked for help on thr service arouns town, were given a map and how to move around. Lovely stay and hotel.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic, super helpful and nice staff and it looks much better in real life than the photos on this website. The room was comfortable, fluffy bed and good pillows, air conditioning was started before we arrived so the room was perfect when we got there.

Hotel Mercurio was wonderful. The staff was amazing, friendly, and gave amazing recommendations for food and outings. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Also, it was very centrally located which made it super easy and convenient to get to anywhere in the city. We loved it and would recommend them highly.

A Pleasurable Visit

We found Hotel Mercurio to be an excellent home base from which to explore Venice. So close to just about everything. The friendly and helpful staff, especially Susanna and Monica, made our four-night stay even more pleasurable.

Overall we had a very nice stay. The room was clean and ac worked well. There were a lot of stairs to get up to our room. We were on the top floor but that’s probably to be expected for the area. Since we had to catch a train before breakfast was served they put together a bag for us on the day of departure. Staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Area was good and very close to st marks square.

Venice genuine, likable, very good staff, excellent breakfast. If you don’t mind space a bit tight and narrow staircase, probably as many classic Venice buildings anyway, this is a/the real thing. I’d gladly come back. Thank you.
