For what it is, it's a 5 star hotel. Couldn't be in a better location if you value ease coming into and leaving the city. Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, clean and simple accommodations. This is an "inexpensive" hotel option but gives you everything you need except luxury. There are plenty of those hotels throughout the city if that's what you're looking for. As a reminder, breakfast is not included and as of April 2026 cost 10 euro per person. The offerings were simple but sufficient. We would absolutely come back!!

Check-in was quick and smooth, staff were all friendly and helpful, room is a little small but very clean. Just a short walk from the train station, close to the main water bus station as well.

The hotel is small and has a very comfortable and safe feeling and is very clean! There is always someone at the front to greet you and provide anything you need. The location was perfect!

Hotel Caprera is the perfect hotel for anyone travelling to Venice who needs a simple and modest stay near the train station. Don’t expect this hotel to be anything crazy, because it’s not, but for what you’re paying for, it’s great. The staff were super nice and quite welcoming. Would visit again!

Fantastic hotel run by a lovely family who all chipped into the welcome process and were all very helpful! Cool AC, very accessible but not directly on the main street such that it was loud.
