Great location, quiet, but few steps from restaurants, 2 minutes from St Marks Square. Breakfast was excellent, lift to upper floors, room stylish contemporary but with Venetian references, my second time staying at Hotel Campiello. Lovely small hotel.

Great property at a great location only 5 minutes walking to St. Mark’s square. A little loud early morning, probably people in their way to work. We stayed at a suite in a building adjacent to the hotel but had everything. We were very happy with our stay. Thanks

Morning hotel breakfast was perfect way to start the day. Transportation on various boats right outside the door. Less than 5 minutes to Doges Palace and St Marks Square. Central to all. Every single employee was very nice and helpful. Quiet room with a little terrace completed a wonderful stay.

Quiet simple hotel / room within walking distance to so much of what Venice has to offer. While the front desk were usually at the larger (and probably more expensive) sister property, they were quick to respond to calls and requests. If you are ok with simple (small) accommodations this is a real value opportunity.

The place was good. Just to noisy we had to sleep with windows open there was no A/C for the season March. Because we had the windows open we heard everything!! People there speak pretty loud you can hear the next door getting a shower. Breakfast was cold

Best place to stay in Venice!

We stayed in one of the apartments. It is the nicest room we stayed at in Italy so far. We didn’t need the kitchen or living room but it was nice having all the space! Some negatives for those who read the comments- the shower is small, but it also had a bath tub which is wonderful after a long day of walking: the pillows are hard flat pancakes, but I used my blanket in a bag that I always travel with: breakfast was two doors down the lobby, but it was the best breakfast that included boiled or scrambled eggs, meats, cereals, yogurts, breads, sweets…: the noise of people rolling their luggage through the courtyard, but just deal with it, better yet wear ear plugs. The location is super! Elvis was so helpful, never got the other guys name because he looked so much lik Elvis.

It was clean but there wasn't much room for us to walk inside the room, the bed took up almost all the space (maybe 8 inches from the side of the bed to the wall, on the window side of the bed). Thankfully the huge headboard held our one piece of carry-on luggage and backpack. The room was pretty small, we had to walk into the bathroom sideways to get to the toilet. The hotel is VERY close and convenient to St. Mark's square and many restaurants. All that said -- a hotel is so much more than a room with a bed — it's also the service from the staff. Which was lacking. I have to say this was a very disappointing part. First, they do not seem to keep someone at the front desk. This caused me great trouble -- as a package had been sent to me the day I arrived -- but because no one was at the front desk to receive it the postal service returned it to sender in Rome! (It was my computer power source.) Very frustrating and costly for me. My power brick, cord and adapter never made it back - now I'm out $87! The breakfast in the morning was good but a bit confusing. No silverware is available for self service and there was very minimal staff (eg., only one person working in the front restaurant around the corner). To top it all off-- we had to open the windows at night (with no screens!) because they turned our A/C off! Apparently once they turn on the heat to the building, EVERYone gets heat. I woke up covered in sweat then threw up from being overheated.

Great Location, clean rooms and friendly staff.

Excellent location on the grand canal, there is a vaperetto station a few hundred feet away. Very walkable location. The rooms were comfortable the bathrooms are. a bit tight and the showers are quite small so if you are a larger person you might not find it to be comfortable. We loved our stay here and would certainly come back again.
