This is a very clean hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I would stay here again. The check in process was at a different place than the hotel and they wanted the fees in cash only and not credit card. Other than that we loved the hotel.
Front view and the entrance is on the side. The front is a store/bar that has tables out front.
Lobby with no attendance since you check in down the road.

Rooms look old-fancy, with beautiful marble mixed with aging but intricate wood finishes. Functionally, totally fine, and I’m sure the old-fancy style is standard for Venice. No elevator, of course, for our second-story room. Staff was responsive but no front desk presence is in the building. Hallways/stairs were dark when we left early in the morning.

Classic Venezia

Such an interesting old hotel! In a quiet part of town which is so nice to be off the main tourist road. The room is beautifully designed and the canal view is a wonderful touch. The bed was comfortable but is not for all, could cause back issues if you don’t sleep carefully. All in all a wonderful experience!

This was a great location right by a drop off area for the ACTV. The area was quiet and still an easy walk to any restaurant or shopping. The room was a little smaller than we anticipated but still cozy and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

I’m an American living abroad in the UK, and Venice was my first broader European trip. The most beautiful city I’ve ever seen! The hotel was lovely and clean and charming, and the location in Cannaregio was very nice—a bit out of the way of the densest tourist areas but still beautiful, walkable and interesting with lots of dining options.

Very small room and tight shower stall. I think the cost is pricy but that may be the trend in Venice in general. On the plus side, it is close to the bus and train station so saving us some effort in dragging our luggage across many bridges and cobble stone path.

Lovely room with a great view of the canal. Quiet spot at night as at the end of the walkway. Easy check in at the hotel along the canal. There is work being down on the canal outside so there was some noise first thing in the morning. Safe wasn’t working in the room and we could find English channels on the tv (not the end of the world!). Not a proper shower. Just a shower head to use in the bath. Bed was quite hard but got used to it and air con worked well. Would book again!

We just left Ca' Dogaressa in Venice, Italy. The service from Fabio was extraordinary. He ensured our stay was exceptional with attention to detail and a friendly demeanor. The spacious room had comfortable furnishings and tasteful decor, offering a delightful retreat. The hotel's high cleanliness level provided peace of mind, and as Shabbat observers, we appreciated the accommodation for our religious practices. Surprisingly, our room was ready before check-in time. Ca' Dogaressa exceeded our expectations, offering outstanding service, cleanliness, and comfort. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in Venice, Italy. POI: It’s in 4 minutes walking distance of GAM GAM the kosher restaurant where we ate our Shabbat meals & 6 minutes from the main synagogue at the Jewish ghetto. (10 minutes from Chabad & Ba’Ghetto restaurant).

The problem with this hotel is that the room had no heating. It seems to have been turned off given that it was late April However, I was unlucky enough to spend three days in Venice during unseasonably cold and very rainy weather. The room was like an icebox. Seriously - the thermometer got down to 15.9 Celsius one night (that’s a little under 60 Fahrenheit) but given the stone floors it felt much, much colder. And very damp. All I could do was take hot baths and stay in bed to keep warm. I hate to give a bad review to the hotel - it was clean, a good sized room, a wonderful view, nice staff and in an excellent location - but I was pretty miserable one of the nights when it was so cold. I slept with a sweater on under 3 blankets.

The staff were extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating and really contributed to what was a pleasant stay. The location was conveniently close to the train station, and was right on the canal with many dining options. The room was very well cleaned and nicely decorated, quiet, with means to keep the room dark in the morning.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Really convenient location, and only a 10 min walk from the train station. The interior of the room is beautiful, very unique and pretty. Comfortable stay and clean. Highly recommend!
