This is my second time staying at the Hilton, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected especially from such a reputable brand. I understand it’s peak summer season, but that shouldn’t justify poor guest service or lack of attention to detail.
The pool was closed again, which was a major disappointment considering it was one of the main reasons my friends and I chose Hilton. When I asked for even a one-hour late checkout, the front desk staff refused without consideration. I also accidentally left my medication in the room’s fridge, and they claimed they couldn’t find it raising serious concerns about how guest belongings are handled.
Our “canal view” room, which is supposed to be one of the nicer modern options, had a clogged shower and dusty floors. For the price and the brand name, this was a very underwhelming and frustrating stay. I’m genuinely disappointed and will think twice before booking with Hilton again.
