Perfect spot in San Marco

We had amazing three days here. Loved the room, and excellent bathroom. The breakfast each morning from 8-10am was absolutely to die for! Was so good! Highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay

Everything was perfect! Excellent view of the canal, you could hear singing from the gondolas below. Beds and shower were nice. Breakfast was very good. It took us a while to realize we had to ring a doorbell to get inside, may be nice to include that in the instructions.

Beautiful room overlooking canal

Lovely place in a very central location, owner gave us great directions before we arrived and answered any questions we had. Chef prepared breakfast in the morning and was very helpful, even was there early for our early departure when we left. Very clean room, the fourth bed could have been a little sturdier, but it was acceptable. Lovely room overlooking the canal, cleaned every day.

Great location

This hotel is tucked down a side street but only a few steps from the main shopping area in San Marco. Our host was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. Breakfast each morning with coffee pastries breads eggs. Loved our stay!!

Perfection with a canal view

Our family of three LOVED this lodging, and especially the hospitality of Katy and Maria. We got so lucky with a triplet room with two windows overlooking a canal! It’s perfectly located and absolutely immaculate.

Not a good place to stay. After all that travel by train, boat, and walking, we got to the hotel and were greeted by a huge staircase, and we had to haul our luggage up almost three levels with no help at all. And get this, there wasn't any hot water in the bathroom for a shower! The toilet barely flushed, and you had to wait like 15 minutes between uses! I paid almost $600 for this, and it's really more like a two-star hotel. The only good thing was the location and the breakfast.

Amazing Stay. Keep something things in mind.

I have to say that we loved our stay. Our view to the canal was incredible. The check in process was easy. Breakfast was included but it was very basic, bread, cereals, some fruits, scrambled eggs. Nothing made to order so keep that in mind, we didn’t mind. There are also some stairs to go up to the hotel so if you have mobility issues reconsider. They do have a partial lift but I didn’t see another one the rest of the way up. What I loved the most was the view of the canal, I couldn’t stop staring out the window watching the gondolas go by. It was amazing. The location is also amazing as you are near everything specially San Marcos square which is like a 5 min walk or less. Also note that there is no reception. The gentleman that checked us in was lovely but I never saw him again nor anyone else except the gentleman working the breakfast. Personally I’d stay there again but keep in mind the stairs, no reception but all in all amazing stay. We had room #6

At first glance, the neighborhood seemed a bit run down but it turned out to be quite nice. Don’t be intimidated by the multiple locks to get in, this neighborhood is actually quite safe and the host was super friendly! My only real complaint is that the bed was not comfortable and a/c is inadequate for the size of the apartment.
