The front desk staff were very nice and helped answer our questions and provide suggestions of food and things to do. The shared kitchen and laundry area were also nice to have.
I really enjoyed how accommodating this hotel was during our stay. They asked what time i would arrive and the reception had it run smoothly for check in. Checknout was verry easy to!
We used this as a base for visiting Venice. Great price and free & secure car parking combined with a 5 min walk to the regular & efficient train service (euro 1.5 pp) made this a good option for us. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and a decent breakfast was provided.
Room was fairly basic but was clean and provided what we needed as we were out for most of the day.
We just needed a place to sleep and cost less than a 4-star. Camelia is neat, clean, well-located from the Mestre airport bus stop and train stations. If you need something, it’s within a couple of blocks.
Staff are helpful and share information.
A place worth adding to the list of good accommodations in what can be a very expensive city.
Great place and staff was very helpful to let us leave the bags before and after check in.
It would be nice to put some net on the door to the balcony as we wanted to enjoy the great weather but it meant that loads of flies got in.
We ’re staying here twice this trip. The day we arrive by plane and the night from Venice before we rent the car to go north. It is a good place for this transition. Nice beds. Curtains that block the light. Easy to find. Great staff. A few blocks from the Mestre airport bus stop & train station. Just what we need.

Hotel was okay. Nothing fancy or outstanding but was fine for our two night stay. You get what you pay for and it did the job.
Front staff was amazing. I can’t remember her name but she was so helpful in getting us transportation. We were traveling in a big group 5 adults and a baby (13 months old). She gave us her contact so we could message her to call us a cab from wherever we were to bring us back to the hotel - above and beyond what we would expect from guest services. So thank you!
within walking distance from the train station- the train goes to Venice and from there you take a vaporette or water taxi to go around Venice.
The staff was good.
The website says that they have shuttle to the airport for a surcharge, from previous reviews it looked like it was around 25$ - I was charged 61 euros as they told me it was 50 euros for shuttle(taxi) and extra 11 euros for tax as I was paying by credit card. Just FYI in case visitors want to use their shuttle service.
Otherwise the service was good.
Rooms were clean.
There is an elevator.
This is a decent option if you’re on a budget and want to visit Venice. It is a 6 minute walk to the train station, and then a 10-15 train to Venice. Overall it takes about 30 minutes to get from the hotel to the station in Venice. The area around the building is pretty sketchy. There are a couple nice restaurants about 5-10 minutes walk but getting to and from is a bit stressful with the types of people around. Fine for groups but just beware if you’re solo. The key card didn’t really work to get into the building but they have 24/7 front desk. The room was very small but it’s fine. Very small but good shower. Overall, it’s a good choice on a budget but I would stay in Venice (proper) if you have the dough.
Staff was not present during the entire stay. Everything was handled remotely and in an inefficient manor. I was even given the wrong access code and had to wait outside till morning to be let in.

Disliked: Amenities
The hotel was definitely “just a place to lay your head down” and nothing more. We chose this place because of the proximity to the train/bus station and because it was much less than staying in Venice. I wouldn’t say it was a bad or good stay but a “got the job done” stay.
Make yourself a favour and stay here! The staff is AMAZING, and the hotel is very clean and has everything you might need during your stay. Less than 10 mins walk to Menestre train station. The bus # 2 is just around the corner and it takes you directly to Venezia.
I would come back for sure!

It is a good deal for the price. The place is a bit run down but you get what you pay for. The place could been a bit cleaner. They charge 10 euro for a continental breakfast but I haven’t tried it.
When we checked in the room was not ready (that is on us we were an hour early), however when we can back 5 hours later it still wasn't ready. The air conditioner didn't work, the room was dirty and the toilet was leaking. We were ready to leave, the owner however went out of his way to make things right. He took us and our luggage in his personal vehicle to another property he owned that was 2 blocks away. This second property was much better and we had a nice stay there. While I still would not recommend Camilia Rooms as it was terrible, I will certainly give kudos to the owner for trying to make things right.

We liked it was a 2 blocks from the train station. That said, I wouldn’t recommend this place for more than 1 night. The walls are paper thin (heard upstairs neighbors all night), the shower and toliet were separated by a shower curtain to that didn’t stop water from going everywhere and the shower head kept popping off. Breakfast around the corner would be more cost efficient
This hotel looks way worse than its photos, and is really overpriced for the condition that it us in. It is very run-down. There are stains on walls and carpets in the hallway, and the lamps are missing bulbs. The bedding was clean, but really old and overused. The bathroom in our room was tiny and uncomfortable, and there was a prolonged wait for the hot water to start coming out of the tap. At 6 am an air conditioner randomly turned on, making loud chocking noises that woke us up. The breakfast was beyond basic, and the breakfast room was the dirtiest I've ever seen. The three good things to say about this hotel were the surprisingly comfortable mattress, the very kind and polite staff, and the convenient location close to both the centre of Mestre and to the train station. Over all, cannot recommend
In the room we found 2 single beds made into one king's size are we requested during the booking proces. During the night sleep both beds were moving aside making a gap and our feeling uncomfortable.
