Loved the look of the room with exposed beams and roof tiles and the air conditioning!! The bathroom was clean and well equipped. Both the bathroom and bedroom were roomy and there was a view of the canal. Luggage storage was great. It’s true the steps up with heavy luggage were inconvenient but all part of the experience!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The view of the canal was amazing. Fair warning, if you plan on staying here, you’ll have to walk up multiple flights of stairs.

The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! The ability to store our bags before check-in was great. The room itself was well-maintained, a good size, and had a nice view. Convenient location to most tourist activities.

This place gave us a great welcome after a long trip. Great location to everything including water taxi from the airport and to the train station. Everyday they provided maid service. We traveled with a young toddler and it was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Great place and clean our only issue was that the bed was to joint beds and it had a crack in the middle that made it uncomfortable also the bed sheets were old and it rip as soon as we pull it but over all the location was great and close to most important areas.

Beautiful property with a good view of the canals. Be advised though that there is no lift, but the room itself is worth it. You get the feel of Venice but from a good distance away from the busy areas so it’s pretty quiet and serene at night. I chose this area because it’s near the restaurant we had reservations for. The front desk folks were nice as well.

We loved our stay at Le Marie! We particularly loved the view of the canal from our window! There was a lot of stairs to climb to the third floor but that was well worth it for the view. The room was clean and it was easy to do check in and check out. Clean room, quiet in the evening. Walking distance to everything you need. We loved the Ozio terrace and bar just on the piazza besides the B&B.

Lovely room in Venice

Our room had a very lovely view. It was a silent and comfortable room. The location was convenient as well. The bathroom could be cleaner. There are lots of stairs to climb to reach the rooms so not convenient for people with big and heavy luggage.

B&B Le Marie was excellently located, not crowded with tourists and easily accessible to many restaurants, bars, an amazing pizza shop, delicatessen. a small supermarket and a nearby gondola stop. A pleasant walk past retail shops and more amazing eateries eventually led to more tourist sites like St Marks Square.The room we booked had breathtaking views of 4 bridges over the canal, unbelievably beautiful! The cleanliness and upkeep of room and bathroom was below average for the price we paid. Dirty, unhygienic shower tiles and shower door enclosure, blockout window curtains half hanging off hooks with a beautiful view beyond did not warrant the expensive cost of the room. The bed was extra firm and not so comfortable after a long day exploring Venice. Obviously we were paying for the view and the room was second rate. Management is obviously not consistently reviewing the maintenance and absolute cleanliness of rooms despite the expensive room charge. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests who choose to pay a lot for the location and view.

Safe, clean and in a great location in Castello, on one of the larger campos in Venice. Pretty typical "value" room for Venice, nice curtains, two twin beds pushed together and a slightly shabby but clean bathroom. Double flight of steep stairs. Our stay at B&B Le Marie was great, a very convenient area just tucked away off the main streets, quiet and very clean! I’d come again! The only negatives would be that it doesn’t actually do breakfast anymore (but doesn’t state this when booking), no tea or coffee facilities in the room and also 47 steep steps to the room! 😂 Saying that, I would stay again!
