I had a great time staying at Melao Lodge. Heriberto was extremely friendly and one of the best hosts I had so far! You can park the car in a gated area in front of the place. All in all great. Would stay again!

Extremely clean and very well done! Would stay here again and again, and recommend to all. Location is great if this is where you need to be always check before you book somewhere as some guests here were very unhappy with location. But that because they were expecting to be in San Juan. This place is totally fantastic!!!

safe clean ok to spend a few nights Property owner was very accommodating when she needed a larger bed property is above a gym and very loud music is played early in the morning and evening until it closes nearby church plays loud music as well very noisy street and construction took place next door while we were there so it was very impossible to sleep in bed matress still had the plastic which was very noisy and uncomfortable to sleep in along with bedding ok location to get to and from if your visiting the island but would not stay again beaches are very nice and close by along with supermarket and shopping kitchen full equipped wish they had tV's in the room parking was covinient along with local food vendors and restaurants we left a day before and stayed with family which was close to being home comfort wise not a terrible place tho area is safe and Police station is just a few feet away from location.

They charge an extra "cleaning fee" of $35 AFTER you check in! Place is very noisy; has a community kitchen they ask that you clean your dishes if you dirty them (what's the "cleaning fee" for?) Place worked for one night in a pinch but wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.
