Strongly recommended and will come back.

Nice location, 5min.walk to the sky train station. Beautiful neighborhood, with supermarket, cafe and restaurants all in walking distance. Good breakfast service. The only thing that we experienced was the towels got unpleasant smell perhaps as we learned on the arrival day that it had been raining for the past days. And the room was bit small which was intended for up to 3persons. What we liked most was the sound-proof of the rooms, which is excellent for a beautiful Victoria-style house.

Super clean room, breakfast was simple but good. I was lucky enough to be in the cottage by myself for the first couple of nights. The last night I had a neighbor and realized just how thin the walls are. I didn't spend much time there except to sleep but I really appreciated the close proximity to VGH and tons of restaurants. I walked everywhere from there. About 12-15 minutes to walk to VGH depending on traffic. And about 20 minutes to get down to False Creek which is a gorgeous place to walk on a sunny day. The neighborhood felt safe even without much for street lights and it was surprisingly quiet.

Clean and cozy room. The shared bathroom was very clean. Very convenient location as we were visiting Olive fertility Clinic and we walked to get there. Staff was great and answered the messages very fast.

A wonderful experience staying at Windsor Guest House. Our room was very clean with having everything provided as mentioned in the description. The common area is beautiful and has everything we needed to make our stay more comfortable. The breakfast each morning was lovely and delicious, Agnes is a true gem!

To preface this we stayed in the basement! The room was more bare than the pictures indicate, with nothing but white walls and a very unstable mirror above the sink. The curtain is completely see through and you can be seen from the street. Additionally, bed frame is very creaky. The mini fridge was SO loud as well as some furnace or sub pump. The rest of the home is super cute. Breakfast was okay, with either an option of eggs or french toast (which seems silly given they also have toast on the side with some coffee and cereal). I’d probably come back, just not stay in the basement. Parking on the street isn’t terrible. We do get a ticket on our second day, but it was only $50. For parking for over 3 days, it seems reasonable. Theres also tons of parking garages a few blocks away.

This lovely guest house is in a beautifully restored heritage home, with thoughtfully appointed and cozy rooms. Everything was very clean and the bed comfortable. All the staff were truly kind and welcoming. I knew to expect continental breakfast offerings, but was pleasantly surprised to be offered a cooked breakfast, all as part of my stay. Location is excellent with easy access to public transportation restaurants and shops. The only thing to be aware of is that parking is limited around the house and I had to find pay parking.
