On the day of check-out. The counter said that they are willing to help take care of the luggage, and informed us that the road to pick up the car would be under construction in an hour or two, and our car could continue to be parked here until 2:00 p.m. We went back to the hotel before 2:00 p.m. and told the counter that we were going to pick up the car. While waiting for the car, we sat in the lobby restaurant and enjoyed the welcome drink. When we were about to leave, we found that the car was locked. Back to the counter to confirm, they told us that we had to pay the extra parking fee before returning the car key to us. The hotel's valet fee is 55 Canadian dollars a day. We left before 2:30 p.m., but they forced us to pay 34 Canadian dollars in exchange for the car key. Our car key was not even on the counter, but "hidden" in the small room where the luggage is stored. While waiting for the car, we sat in the lobby and didn't leave at all! The valet and the counter staff didn't even come to tell us that our car had arrived. They were not busy, and there were not many guests visiting during this time. At other times, they just stood and looked at us many times. We walked past the counter on our way to the parking lot. We smiled and thanked them at that time, but they never told us anything about the parking fee. Instead, they watched us walk to the car and come back to the counter so that they could charge us the extra parking fee. Stay Away! Do Not Recommend!

Love this place! The staff and Hotel is second to none. Azur Hotel is one of those rare spots where everything just feels right the moment you walk in. The design is clean, modern, and high-end without trying too hard—exactly the kind of atmosphere you want whether you’re in town to relax or handle business. The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully laid out, with a level of comfort that made it easy to unwind immediately. The bed was excellent, the finishes felt upscale, and nothing was overlooked. You can tell this place is well-managed and dialed in. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and overall experience. It’s not just a place to sleep—it feels intentional. Quiet, comfortable, and polished without being stuffy. Location-wise, it’s in a great spot—easy access to everything Vancouver has to offer, but still feels tucked away enough to relax. Bottom line: If you want a hotel that delivers quality, comfort, and a smooth, stress-free stay, Azur nails it. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

I chose this hotel because I had a wonderful stay here previously, which made this experience especially disappointing. During my stay in the Jade Suite, I experienced multiple maintenance and safety issues. The fireplace repeatedly failed to ignite and instead emitted a strong gas smell into the suite. This happened over several days, even after maintenance checked it twice. On one occasion, the smell was strong enough to make me feel light-headed. I reported the issue immediately, but it took nearly an hour for staff to respond while the suite smelled of gas, which was very concerning given the safety risk. Even after staff attended, the fireplace continued to fail to ignite properly and still produced a noticeable gas smell when used. In addition, the shower in my suite did not drain properly. Water pooled around my feet during showers and took a long time to drain, which was unpleasant and not what I would expect from a premium suite. While the staff eventually sent the general manager, concierge, and maintenance to address the fireplace and provided breakfast vouchers, the overall handling of the situation and delayed response to a potential gas issue left me feeling unsafe and disappointed. I returned to this hotel because of a previous excellent experience, but unfortunately this stay did not meet the same standard, particularly in terms of maintenance responsiveness, safety handling, and room quality.
