"‘This is not a hotel’ is the first thing the hostess told us when she first called. The villa indeed is their own home and this is made very clear during our stay. The hostess treated our kids as a strict schoolteacher and to top it all off at the end of the evening also yelled upstairs that we were playing with the heating, which we were not. "An imposing and historic building with polite, professional staff. The Dôme bar is visually stunning though service can be a little slow and prices are high. The room looked good, though with a couple of issues. The mattress was okay, not great, and the pillows were overly soft. The mini bar fridge wasn't at all cold, and noise from outside was a little too audible. The location is excellent and I would consider staying again though definitely on the top floor."
