"Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. The wildlife is incredible (I’ve never heard an all-night frog chorus before and the deer roam freely through the meadows). "The B&B is 15-20 minutes by foot away from the city centre, public transport is available close by. We enjoyed the private atmosphere and the quirky/eclectic interior design, which gives the place a special atmosphere. Breakfast was great, with several (continental European / Frech) options. Yves was a great host, as Chantal was out. One piece of advice: Inform the hosts in advance of the time of arrival, as we had to wait a bit "
