It was a ten out of ten stay. Property is beautiful, owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent. Location is really good - short walk to the harbour and beach. Short drive to the Cap. Hope to return in future.

Charming Retreat with Historic Elegance and Person

This small and personal hotel truly offers something extra. Beautiful and peaceful, it is run by a friendly couple with a great eye for detail. The house, with its carefully restored 19th-century features, is both elegant and full of character. We warmly recommend this gem and will definitely return.

Hidden gem

This hotel is a hidden gem 8 minutes by train from Cannes. Absolutely lovely rooms, wonderful owners, breakfast included. A place to come back to. And easy to travel to Cannes for a festival och event but you get away from the noise and crowds when you want. Can' t praise enough.

The best boutique hotel I stayed in Europe. La Bâtisse en Blanc is just amazing — like a dream. A 150-year-old mansion filled with charm, beautifully restored with incredible attention to detail. Everything is peaceful, elegant, and perfectly cared for. The rooms are spotless, the garden is lush, and the breakfast is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s in Golfe-Juan, just 10 minutes from Cannes, yet it feels like a quiet, hidden escape. Laurent and Virginie are wonderful hosts who make you feel completely at home. I didn’t want to leave.

The small, owner-managed boutique hotel is a very magical place. We spent 4 nights there. Virginie and Laurent have designed everything with so much attention to detail. The rooms are modern and have a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We slept very well and there is everything you need. From the individual breakfast with homemade bread and croissants to the inviting pool, the hotel is both suitable for lingering and an ideal starting point for city trips to Cannes, Antibes or Grasse. Everything can be reached in a very short time. Laurent: I'm still waiting for the recipe for your world's best croissants 😉 We highly recommend the hotel and were certainly not the last time we visited.

La Batisse en Blanc is truly a hidden GEM. I have traveled the world and have stayed in the most beautiful five-star hotels and resorts, and this one, by far, was my most enchanting. Every detail of this hotel is beautifully designed, warm, and inviting. Your every need is cared for. The rooms are very very spacious and eloquently beautiful...and air-conditioned. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. So very comfortable and inviting. The breakfast every day was simply scrumptious and served with the utmost care. This family-owned hotel, which looks like a beautiful Villa, is truly special. Laurent and Virginie, the owners, have gone above and beyond to bring this beautiful space into existence, and they continue with this passion throughout every day of your stay. I cannot wait to come back and introduce my children to their daughter Charlotte and this absolutely stunning place that they have built. It is also perfectly situated between Cannes and Antibes, so you truly do get the best of both worlds! A must stay if you are in Cote d'Azur!

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. My wife and I had the most amazing stay at this hotel. It is a boutique hotel and the owners are very involved, which makes it for a terrific experience. We spent 3 weeks traveling the French Riviera bouncing around a few very nice hotel, and this was by far the best hotel experience.

Amazing French villa

We absolutely loved our stay at at La Bâtisse en Blanc. I have been traveling for 3 weeks and this was the best by far. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. A pool to die for. Delicious breakfast. Very cute town. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely place for our 5 days vacation in Golfe Juan. The service, the breakfast and the rooms were 10/10. Very friendly and welcoming hosts of this cozy hotel. The pool and the garden were such a beautiful spot to hang out during the day. Rooms were clean and beds was very comfortable. Great location - just a short walk from the train station and to the beach. We really enjoyed and will definitely come back!

We had the pleasure of staying almost a week at Virginie and Laurent’s beautiful place. They’re lovely hosts and we really enjoyed talking to them during our stay. Though there’s no official restaurant, they serve several different dishes plus even a 3-course meal in the garden in the evenings, which was very relaxing after being away on day trips in the area. We stayed in their two room apartment with our daughters, definitely big enough for the four of us. Thank you for making us feel so at home, we’d be glad to visit again.

A very special place to stay x

One of my new favourite stays in the south of France in a fantastic location a few minutes walk from the beach and easy reach to Cannes. A magical little find and a very special small intimate hotel. Virginnie and Laurent could not have been more accommodating and care more to make my stay perfect. Incredible breakfasts, beaitiful surroundings and the bed was incredible. The pool area and outside terrace make for a very relaxing morning coffee or glass of wine. A real home from home with all the luxuries and intimate service of a high end hotel. Just perfect! Will be back x

Stunning hidden gem.

On arrival I parked in the public car park and struggled to find the entrance. But once I rang the side was opened by the lovely owners. What a surprise gem! Behind the old walls is a completely unique and cared for property. Fresh, clean and calm with wonderful hosts. Fantastic large rooms with a real personal/boutique feel. The actual hotel car park drive way was very secure behind three barriers. A beautiful venue and I will stay again when I have the chance. Merci!
