"It's a 2 Star hotel, so with that in mind I can honestly say it was the cleanest shower we had in a week of travel. Good size room, good size bathroom and recently renovated from the look of it. Breakfast included freshly prepared eggs and GF alternatives. Again, another first after a week of travel. Garage for our motorbike."

"Set at the base of the French Alps, Sisteron is already incredibly charming, and Sophie’s cottage made our stay even more special. It was the perfect place to settle in, slow down and enjoy this beautiful part of Provence. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and having a pool to cool off in after a day of exploring was such a treat. Breakfast was truly made for champions , generous, delicious and thoughtfully prepared and served by our wonderful host. We also loved the little touches, especially the coffee and other beverages available in the office. Everything was delicious, and the honour system made it feel relaxed, welcoming and very much like a home away from home. Sophie’s cottage has so much character and warmth. If you’re visiting Sisteron or exploring Provence and the French Alps, it’s a charming place to stay and experience the area at a more relaxed pace. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return."

"The hotel is situated at a spectacular place, almost in the middle of nowhere. The building and rooms are well kept and nicely decorated. The building is really interesting with stone walls and stairs and many levels and passageways. Drawback is the check-in time, be aware if you arrive late and contact the owner in advance."

"We stayed only one night but found this location to be a nice stop in between Cannes/Antibes and Grenoble on the Napoleon road. The room was clean and comfortable. Only thing missing was a mini fridge to keep our water bottles cold. We were there during the heat wave and there was luckily air conditioning but not super strong. Staff was super helpful and friendly."

"I came to Tallard for the flying, and this hotel is on the doorstep of the wonderful Aerodrome de Gap-Tallard! I was told beforehand by a friend that the hotel was excellent, and it did not disappoint! We had a studio on the ground floor which was lovely, with a shady patio with a table & 2 chairs outside, looking out at the garden with its swimming pool. We were here in a heat wave and it was great to jump into the well maintained pool. Our room had efficient air-conditioning as well."
