Hotel was convenient and we were able to walk to most places that we wanted to see. Hotel seems a little dated and I would consider it over priced for the accommodations had. Very small room and air conditioning was barely adequate to cool the room. Breakfast was OK. Nothing special but adequate. Overall - an OK place to stay but nothing special.

I got there a little early after a 15 h trip and had to wait several hours in the lobby until 3:00 pm. Apparent intentions of the front desk personnel to help did not produce any results. The facilities are good and comfortable. The location is very good

Great stay, would go back in a heartbeat

I would highly recommend Exe. We stayed on a half-board basis, and the food in both, breakfast and dinner, were outstanding. So was the service provided by all the staff members everywhere, dining, and lobby. Very close to the more modern section of the City; yet still walkable (30 min) to old town.

This hotel has a great roof bar with a pool, great views of the city, a nice gym area, a sunny outside rooftop area, good food, and the staff were my favorite while in Spain. I stayed at a few places. The morning crew were helpful and had a good sense of humor. I would stay here again for sure.

The hotel was in a great location for me, close to everything I needed. The staff were exceptional, I cannot praise them highly enough. I wish I had taken their names, I could then have praised them individually, they were friendly, courteous, helpful, patient and a credit to the hotel.

Close to modern museum in easy walkable distance. Pool closed due to time of year. Nearest metro was to far away to walk to hotel so used a taxi 10 euro. Taxi wait outside hotel. Clean throughout hotel. English speaking reception staff. A good italian resturant across the road and a bar next to it showing spanish football. A nice stay.

Very prompt attention from reception on arrival. Our room however, seemed like it was under a function suite on the Saturday night. Rest of stay was peaceful. Bed amazing. Power cut for two hours on last night. Didn’t cause us any issues. Location for centre of town, beach and science park superb.

Good stay with little problems

Hotel is greatly located in Valencia. However the room I reserved was not available for me upon check in, and could not be given because they were fully booked. Also, the A/C works poorly.

Good location halfway between beach and old town (though I don’t recommend the beach for swimming, dirty sand, floating plastic and oily water). Pool… not really. Small, mold growing around greasy pool edge. Breakfast good. Lots of options, even gluten free. Most of staff very nice; one barman was rude; later I ordered a Caesar salad and received it topped with salted mayo in place of dressing. It was inedible. I did not touch it. They asked why. The “chef” came out and shoved the bottle of dressing in my face. I paid. A woman had just checked in, she came down and showed the desk staff a photo on her phone and said, what animal is this? The staff responded “we don’t know” She asked could you Please remove it from my room. I’ll never know what it was. Thankfully we were leaving. 4 stars? I don’t think so.

The room was nice, comfortable bed. Great location. Staff were not particularly warm or welcoming. I was disappointed that the pool was not open, as I had specifically chosen this hotel for the fact that it had a pool. (open Jun-Aug). Breakfast was very hit-and-miss. Huge buffet selection but not all of it good. Bacon and eggs were cold and quite disgusting, churros were dry and tough. Nice selection of fruit and cakes/pastries though.

The best hotel so far from the 3 months I’ve stayed in Spain. Person very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, organized, well managed, and super kindhearted. I have been in this property on and off for the past month for a total of 24 days that I even missed the hospitality of the hotel when I left out of town. Can’t believe the hotel is well managed by Alvaro, Teresa, Noelia! Reception is beyond helpful on how to get around Valencia, shout out to Salvador, Georgia, Pepe # 1, Pepe #2, Santi, Jose, Elot, Carlota, Oscar, Raquel and all of them are super friendly. The bar personal was beyond my expectations as well along with the restaurant crew. Special thanks to Xavi, Antonio Fernando, Gigi #1 & #2 along with Felix. The restaurant has excellent food as well. I’ve been to the hotel chain of Senator and it does not compare to the management of this hotel. I totally recommend it for anyone that visits Valencia. Thank you Exe Rey Don Jaime for the hospitality!!!!!!!
