「Very nice people」

「The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)...

「Charming and comfortable suite. This is an old building, stairs and floors are well out of square and weathered. All things we needed were provided and clean!! Rare and treasured. Restaurant under construction 11/2025. No fuss, easy communication via text.」

「Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.」
