「A relief to walk into this clean, uncarpeted room after a long, hot day of driving. New shower, sink and toilet. Happy to have air conditioning but the unit was noisy, even with earplugs. The location was very quiet though and gets extra points for the chorus of frogs that greeted us. Friendly management.」

The room key is retrieved from a key box, so you don’t have to meet hotel staff, which provides good privacy. However, I needed a band-aid and a spoon, so I asked the woman at the front desk—who I believe is the owner—and she kindly brought them to me. She always greeted me with a smile, and I am truly grateful for her warm...
