「The way up by car is not for the faint hearted. Read the instructions clearly or you may come across serious problems. Once you get there, the parking is great. Hotel has an excellent location, and you can basically walk everywhere around the old part of town. Walking to Alhambra is doable but we took the bus and we were glad we did. Reception lady is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spotless with thick, fresh towels in the bathrooms. Great experience overall.」

「I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. 「clean room, great AC, amazing location for walking, parking was convenient but also a bit scary to get to (legally driving on pedestrian roads is spooky, but they do clearly note and direct you on it so that’s good), if you are planning on taking your car in and out during your stay, maybe seek outside parking. beautiful place with very kind staff, will 100% book again if i’m ever in the area!」
