「We booked this stay for our anniversary, and the experience was very disappointing. At check-in, we were told there was no parking near our building due to events and were directed to a distant grass lot. We were also charged an unexpected $39 “lodge fee” that wasn’t disclosed at booking. The desk clerk gave us incorrect directions to our room. After walking around with our luggage and carrying it up stairs (no elevator), we still couldn’t find it. Calls to the office went unanswered....

「Not handicap friendly in any way. 2 handicap parking spots for entire property. 1at resort and one at golf area. One at resort taken up alot iof time by valet staff with cars with no placard or license plate. Lots of hills, steps. They charge extra $35 per day to use "amenities" which are down hills, steps and poorly maintained. View is beautiful but everything else needs work.」

「Room was clean and cozy, staff were super friendly, breakfast was delicious, and it was hassle free. We needed somewhere to stay after a wedding and I’m so glad we chose here! I felt safe and everything was actually clean. For the first time ever—our room didn’t smell like old cigarette smoke and cheap air freshener. Everything was great!! Definitely plan on staying here again when we come back to visit.」

「Ok... So there's definitely NOT a pool. It's was as low end as it gets ... Like, we walked outside and found a bullet on the ground right outside the door. They double booked the room, so someone else had keys to our room.... 」

「This is a smallish Hotel but it is big on charm, Location and amenities. It is right across from the mountain coaster and walking distance to all of the fun of Helen Georgia. I really enjoyed my stay there and they made us feel special.」

「Check in was easy It's a little out of town. About a 10 min walk The bedroom needed a bed upgrades and a deep cleaning. Breakfast was ok」

「The property is very nice. A little aged on the cottages. The buffet was very well done , fresh, well seasoned and flavorful. Rare for buffet. The breakfast buffet was a little of a let down. For 22 a person. The omelet station was closed no pancakes or waffles or French toast. So for the price and only having 8 or so options I felt it was overpriced for what you get. I will say the quality was great for both and could tell it was all fresh made with real ingredients. The over all stay was great...

「For the small town of Hiawasee, you can find a better stay. We were in town for a concert and it’s only a 4 minute ride to the venue.」
