「We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend Princes Point Villa! The location is perfect for an Isle of Skye road trip. 「We had a fantastic stay at Taigh Duitseach in April 2024. 「Very quiet. beautiful views. The pods were a bit too small but otherwise loved our stay. Great restaurant and bar. Don’t try and bring outside food into the bar to eat with their drinks. (This was frowned upon). But there was an awesome food truck just up the road (Pizza in the Skye) and we couldn’t resist… They moved us to the “lounge”, which was right next to the bar. Extensive whisky to be enjoyed at their bar. 」

「The recidense experience was far beyond my expectation. Room was very spacious with almost all necessary facility ready, wifi was superior unlike some other hotels in isle of skye. 「Loved Portree and this hotel. Our only suggestion would be to book dining reservations in advance. We BARELY got in for dinner after trying 5-6 restaurants as a walk-up. And this was early in the season (3rd week of April). The brunch at the hotel is great, but I'd also book that early if you want an early start out on the trails.」
