「Beautiful room, we stayed in the separate rooms outside from the main building. Extremely warm welcome with a tour of the stunning pub. We were invited for complementary canapes - which unfortunately we couldn't make. Huge room and bathroom with a little terrace. Massive comfy bed. Breakfast was really premium with awesome vegan option. Very quiet surroundings. Perfect location to grab a morning run on Dunwich Heath. Parking was easy and safe. Loved every minute and will definitely be back. 」

「We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. 」

「Fantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area. Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room. 「Visually the place makes a very good impact. Dinner, the food was excellent as were the staff. Breakfast … we’d booked it at check in. We turned up to breakfast and there was nothing booked , the service at breakfast was okay , we did have to case up something. But overall we had a very good stay and would return.」
