"The location was good. It was adequately safe and comfortable and very convenient location. We picked it for availability and price and it did the trick. I would stay there again. We liked the quality and service of the pub which we used once. The specials they show at the pub no longer exist and they sold their boat a year ago so no more scenic tours or fishing outings. It worked well given we had an early am fishing outing that was off the main dock practically 1 min walk from us."

Black Rock Oceanfront Resort

8/10 Good
"The property is in a beautiful natural setting and the room was very nice. There were some housekeeping tasks that could have been tended to. The windows in our room hadn’t been cleaned in awhile and the handprints from previous young occupants were visible. Also other exterior windows in the 4th floor hallway were very cobweb covered which impacted photo taking of the views. The plug in the soaker tub in our room did not work so bathing was not possible. I mentioned this to the front desk clerk but it wasn’t rectified. The silicone flange on the plug did close properly so the water was running out of the tub almost as fast as you could fill it. I had a bath in 3 inches of water which was not the relaxing resort experience I was looking forward to after a long day of hiking. For over $500/ night I was a little let down and it did negatively affect my perspective of the property."
