We had a wonderful few days at the Garcia, so glad we opted for this hotel as it was set up in a quieter location but close enough to central Ubud. The surroundings are beautifully lush and the feel of the resort is laid back and relaxed. All the staff are so attentive and helpful, they go out of their way to make sure you’re well looked after, always greeted with a smile. All staff were wonderful, particularly Anayka at reception and Fery in the restaurant.

Smaller hotel with a great restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Room service was also lovely. The villas are more like separate rooms in the same “compound” where each needs a key card to access (same key works on each room). There are good dining options around but not plentiful like ubud center.

I’m going to truly hate leaving Garcia Hotel Ubud! They made my weeklong vacation in Ubud unforgettable. The staff were all so nice and accommodating. We had a minor incident the first night in our room. They immediately changed our room. And for the inconvenience offered a 60 minute massage. I was blown away by that nice gesture because it was truly unexpected. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The food was soooooo delicious. They offered 2 selections at breakfast, a complimentary shuttle into town daily and morning yoga. I loved the local delight breakfast and my daughter loved the American breakfast. They also offer fresh pressed fruit juices, coffee and smoothies. You have to try radiant glow or Immune Booster. I really can’t say enough about the staff. The spa experience was top tier and overall I love the Balinese people and culture. I can’t wait to come back for a longer stay in a few months. If you are thinking about choosing this hotel, do yourself a favor and book it! Thank me later!

Had a relaxing time staying at The Garcia Ubud if you're looking for a peaceful stay as it is not exactly near Ubud central, but the hotel does offer free shuttle service to go to the center. Room is not too soundproof, you can hear people dragging the chairs or opening the doors from left, right and upper floor, but not to the extent that you can hear people from the next rooms talking. Amenities in the room was amazing, love the smell of the coralieskin. We got the Pool Access room which is great, a little bit of downside is the weather is quite cold because of the strong wind and the sun does not really shine over the pool. Gym at the property is also quite small with just basic equipment (dumbbells, a rower, treadmill and a stepper machine), but they do offer free morning yoga activity if you are looking to stay active during your stay. Staffs are very nice and friendly, from the front desk agent to the restaurant. The front desk agent explained everything very thoroughly and detailed when we were checking in, restaurant staff also very attentive and ensure we had everything we need and enjoyed the meals. Before staying at this property, I have read all the reviews where most guests mentioned about the food in their restaurant and I could confirm that they do not overrate it. Food and drinks are "out of this world" as my partner commented. All meals are delicious, the tea selection and flavors is amazing.

Perfect hotel just outside the buzz of Ubud centre

A beautiful property situated just outside Ubud, but with a free shuttle service 4 times a day to take you into town (or c.£3.50 each way in a grab taxi). It’s perfect for people wanting to be close to Ubud but with some peace and tranquility. The room was great, the bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast was anmazing! and the staff very friendly.

Most welcoming and kind staff!

The hotel staff are wonderful. They were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff saw to every request. The hotel layout is also lovely. The only downside is that the rooms are not consistent and the wear and tear from the elements is more evident in some rooms than others.

Garcia was a fantastic stay, exquisite room kept immaculately clean each day. Staff at the hotel were so very polite, thoughtful and professional in the way they treat their guests. The location in Ubud was great, even though it is 7km from town the hotel offer a shuttle which made the daily visit to town a breeze. This was tue first stay in Ubud for us, after many Bali holidays, and feel completely satisfied with our decision to stay in Ubud, at the Garcia. Highly recommended.
