First and foremost the people here really took good care of me and my family. Communication was easy, their response time was fast. The villa we stayed at is beautiful, the beds are so comfortable we had a good rest there. It was also easy to set up spa treatments. The food they prepared is also restaurant quality. All in all, I would highly recommend families and couples to stay at this property if you’re visiting Bali. Many activities to do.

Had an amazing experience the De Ubud Villas! Staff welcomed us with fresh juice & were always asking how they could be of assistance. One night they dropped off complimentary appetizers and fruit juice at our villa. Our villa was absolutely gorgeous, and the made to order breakfast was also phenomenal & scrumptious! Also, quiet but a Quick free shuttle ride into the center of Ubud. Can’t wait to come back!

The property was beautiful and quiet. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was adequate, nothing fancy. Our issue was a misunderstanding regarding airport pickup. We thought it was included with the stay but we were charged $48 USD, we were told by others is should have been less than half of that. The manager wouldn’t budge on the price.

A hidden gem: beautiful villas, wonderful staff

We stayed in one of De Ubud's spacious, ultra-comfortable villas set in lush gardens. The villa was gorgeous and secluded, with all comforts thoughtfully provided. The staff are just lovely: warm, caring and friendly. A wonderful few days of relaxation!

Ubud’s Secret

From the time we stepped onto the property we were greeted with Happy Welcoming Staff . The Lush tropical grounds are so calming with the stunning spacious Villas set privately amongst the natural surroundings you immediately feel you are in relaxing green Ubud . The Villa we stayed in with a private pool was beautiful, luxurious , spacious very clean and with room service . Traveling with 5 Adults and 4 children ranging from 2 to 10 years the property was family friendly catering for all ages with a children’s pool with slide , cubby house and children’s activity classes. Carol and all the wonderful staff , Yani, Tari , just to name a few were so amazing and wonderful with the children It was all the little extras they did that made our stay extra special. The service and food were good but the food orders took some time to come out . There were cooking classes to do and we could have a massage in the day spa. The staff organised any activity we want to do . Also we could access a driver whenever we needed. Thankyou for helping us create wonderful memories

Taste vs. Value

It is a really nice resort. The design of each villa is very thoughtful and chic, all different from each other. Definitely, something can be featured in architecture magazine. The taste and style of the villa is perfect for me. There are many breakfast selection, and portion and taste are great. Definitely, it is value worthy. However, the charge for the service such as rental car and massage & spa come with a premium. More pricey than the options you can find by yourself in the market for the same treatment & service. Please consider, request, and enjoy with convenience and caution.

A truly great place to stay. Top quality faciliites with private pool. The staff could not have been more friendly. De Ubud Villas & Spa used to be located in central Ubud but is now located just outside of town. The courtesy transport was available from 7.00am to 11.00pm and they provided a mobile phone so we could easily organise pick up and drop off. It all worked perfectly. Would definitley love to come back to De Ubud Villas & Spa.

Great Stay

We stayed at De Ubud with 6 adults and 2 children (11 months and 3 years) in the 3 bedroom villa for 4 nights. Travelling with such a large group it was hard to find somewhere to stay that could accomodate all of us so we had to do a lot of research before hand. I was a bit worried about where we had booked, but when we arrived we were very happy. The staff were all so lovely, friendly and helpful and our villa was huge with 3 massive bedrooms and a nice living/dining area. We had ample space for everybody without being in each others way. The location is excellent - its a 2 minute walk down to the monkey forest, or you can walk the other way and there are plenty of restaurants and shops. If you want to go anywhere else the hotel drivers will take you straight away and pick you up when needed. We would often get dropped off somewhere and then walk back. The restaurant, which is a part of the hotel, was also lovely and we ate there a few times. The food there was probably better than most of the places that we had been to. Huge variety and we also received breakfast in a villa served from there every morning. The spa is also fantastic - a bit more expensive than other places, but lovely staff, great treatments and tea served in your villa afterwards. We had a wonderful stay and were looked after very well. We will definitely return on our next trip to Bali.
