"Generous living space"

"Just a stop over for us. I do not recommend this place unless you can't find anywhere else....or can't afford more. It was ok but the property shows it age, clientele is a bit "off".!!"

"I didn't do my homework and read reviews before I booked. We just needed a quick place to stay after an event nearby and the price was right. The woman who checked us in was nice, but emphasized that "there are cameras everywhere." We were running late, so tossed our bags in the room (after going up soggy, filthy stairs). The room has one working lamp, a completely worn desk chair and stained carpet. No TP on the holder in the bathroom, remnants of stickers all over the wall, and mildew. While the sheets appeared clean, my daughter found hair... the thinnest coverlet imaginable and no blankets on the beds. A/C had been set to 61. After our event, we decided that we could not stay there, and ended up just grabbing our stuff and going elsewhere. The place really needs an update or tear down. Would not recommend even for just a quick stay. really filthy."

"I was taking the ferry to Long Island first thing in the morning. They were 8 minutes away !! Clean room and plenty of parking. And there was a Chinese buffet only 5 minutes away !!"

"The room was very clean, staff were very friendly and outgoing, breakfast had a great variety of choices and very tasty. Oh, and the location is ideal. You can get to any (and there are a lot) of the areas attractions very easily and quickly. Overall it was a nice one night stay."

"I didn’t have high expectations for a “motel by the roadside” so you could say this place surpassed my expectations! VERY CLEAN and happy with the amenities provided such as mini fridge and microwave, perfect amount of towels, basic toiletries and extra roll of toilet paper under the sink. Motel under new management- can tell there were some recent room upgrades (fresh coat of paint, new flooring, and some of the bathroom fixtures) giving a bit of a facelift to an older property. Owner is very nice and you can tell she cares a lot about making the place as pleasant as she can, given what she had to work with. The only comment is there was a slight musty odor to our room due to lots of rain that wkd but went away once we turned the heat on- oh and secondly, that I would ask her to improve to some better pillows, as these were a bit dinky for my neck preference and made for slightly uncomfortable tv watching, ha- but the choice of cable channels were good enough though for a wkd and WiFi worked great otherwise. Picked this place due to its convenient location between Mohegan Sun and New London train line while being more affordable compared to the other options closer to the casinos (that frankly most didn’t look like a whole lot more value for the absurd prices they were charging)! "

"The entire place was disgusting. We had to change rooms because of stains and debris on the sheets. We were moved to a room with a massive crack in the mirror, a bathroom you had to stand in the tub in order to shut the door, smelled like wet cigarettes, the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. Stains and mold on everything. It was so bad we left a day early and found a clean hotel nearby. "
