「The courtyard was nice, flowers were beautiful. I found it double standard, I could have my dog, but was not allowed in courtyard but the owners dog was x2. I couldn't leave him in my room, so it made it impossible to enjoy the courtyard. I would totally respect that except their 2 dogs were not on leash. Will not go back. Not clean , windows very dirty , bathroom edges looked dirty. Small vanity. Just not great over all.」

「The hotel was right on the lake and had a lovely beach. A great place for kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s many winery’s to visit close by. You can make your own meals or there’s a good selection of restaurants near the hotel. I would definitely recommend The Poplars Hotel.」

「Lady at front was so helpful and helped us with bags we had as we were traveling from far and with motorcycles they allowed us to leave bags as rooms were not ready yet. Thank you all for making our stay awesome and rooms as well as beach and swimming pool were all awesome.」

「Lovely view of the lake! Room was great except outside our room was a noisy transformer(?) so sitting outside wasn’t enjoyable. The food we did have was very tasty but a very limited menu with no salads or healthy choices.」

「This place was amazing. Exceeded all of our expectations. We walked in and the AC was blasting and the airflow was perfect. Such a nice environment to walk into. Two huge bedrooms and a massive living space. We’re in the middle of a huge western Canada road trip and by far this is the best place we stayed.」

「Loved the restaurant, excellent breakfast, staff, wine and funky homey decor. The location is stunning. The only reason I rated the place 4 vs 5 stars is that the beds (twin which was no problem) were too hard for our taste.」
