We booked a garden view and ended up with a hideous view of a roof, no garden in sight. The shower wa sbarely warm on a good day. The staff were great and I loved the beach and the pools, but I would not recommend the room we had to anyone.

The Royal Sonesta San Juan
Gorgeous place! A bit noisy - not from airport but inside hotel. Had water issues on the 16th floor.

ESJ Beach Hotel
We stayed in an apt/condo. It was beautiful, well furnished, great communication with the resort. The gym was usable and the beach is right at the resort.
